Who Is William L. Mastorakos, D.D.S., M.S.?
Dr. Mastorakos, or “Dr. Bill” as he is affectionately known to his patients and staff, prides himself in not only providing clinical excellence in orthodontic treatment but also in creating lasting relationships with his patients. The professional yet friendly atmosphere of his office makes you feel comfortable immediately.
Dr. Bill proudly followed in his father's footsteps (Dr. Leo Mastorakos) who established the practice in Kirkwood over 60 years ago. At Mastorakos Orthodontic Associates, Dr. Bill continues to build on the traditions of excellence created by his father.
Dr. Bill attended John Burroughs School and completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University in 1977. He attended graduate school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and completed his residency at St. Louis University, earning a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics in 1983.
Dr. Mastorakos is chairman of the Orthodontic Specialty Committee for the Missouri Dental Board. He is an associate clinical professor at St. Louis University's Graduate Department of Orthodontics and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Bill is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists.
He gives back to the community by volunteering with Smiles Change Lives, the Gateway to Oral Health Foundation, Angels' Arms, and the Saint Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education (CADE). When it’s done “Dr. Bill’s” way, you know it will be the best it can be!
